Ich bin total erschüttert und mir fehlen gerade die Worte…
Eine Stimme, die uns vertraut war schweigt,
Ein Mensch, der uns lieb war, ging.
Was uns bleibt, sind Liebe, Dank und Erinnerung.
Auch ich bin sehr erschüttert. Christoph war eigentlich immer da, für uns alle und hat die BAG mit Leben, Liebe und Freude gefüllt. Unvorstellbar, dass er nicht mehr da ist. Ich kannte ihn bereits aus der Anfangszeit der kommunikativen Wende, Ende der 70er Jahre. Eigentlich war er damals schon so, wie er bis zuletzt gewesen ist: Motor, Freund, Aktivator. Und mit unwahrscheinlich guten Ideen, die er immer gerne teilte. Als ich fürs Goethe-Institut Sommerkurse leitete, hatte ich ihn als Gastsprecher nach Göttingen eingeladen, direkt nach der Wende. Ich vergesse nie, wie er dort mit seinem Auto ankam, vollgeladen mit Hunderten von Audiokassetten mit Aufnahmen von kleinen Privatsendern an der Zonengrenze, von Nord bis Süd. Das war sein Arbeitsmaterial an dem Tag. Und er wusste von jeder Kassette genau, was draufstand. Die Teilnehmer waren begeistert von ihm – mit Recht.
Wir sind ihm alle irgendwie verpflichtet. Lasst uns das zum Ausdruck bringen dadurch, dass die BAG weiter lebt und blüht. Er hat es verdient!
Meine Familie und ich waren sehr traurig über die Nachricht. Für uns waren die jährlichen “Familienausflüge” nach Schwerte immer mit Christoph verbunden.
Wir werden ihn sehr vermissen.
